Personnel policy at SMEVA

At SMEVA, employees form the most important link in the achievement of the company’s objectives. In everything that our employees undertake, quality, results, professionalism, integrity, respect, humour, due care and creativity must come first. The achievement of the above depends on the expertise and dedication of those involved and on the right mentality and team spirit at every level of the organisation. The SMEVA organisation consists of motivated people with a mature attitude to their work. They are honest and enterprising, feel responsible for the quality of their work, have a high level of dedication, are customer-oriented, have a sense of humour and are willing to work with others.

Likewise, SMEVA’s employees can expect to be offered meaningful and responsible work within the organisational and job structure defined. Wherever possible, this will be work that reflects the ability of the individual employee and promotes his or her ongoing development.

Our personnel policy focuses on the achievement and retention of the right people, in the right place in the organisation, now and in the future. We refer to this process as ‘the ongoing management of recruitment, promotion and departure’. We ask our employees to play an active role in this process. To an important extent, they themselves are responsible for the course their careers at Smeva take.

Our personnel policy is based on the following principles:

  • recognition of the personal value of the individual employee;
  • the equality of each employee, regardless of race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or conviction, at every level of the organisation;
  • the promotion of the motivation, growth and development of the company’s employees;
  • equal opportunities for all of the company’s employees;
  • the creation of good employment relationships, terms and conditions of employment and working conditions, balancing the interests of the employee against those of the organisation, and with due observance of all statutory stipulations on health, safety and the environment.
